First Pics of the first 800pts

Yay! I'm actually trying to keep up with this thing and post stuff when I say I will!!
Hopefully I last at it!

Anywho, here are my first 3 units for my Warriors of Chaos.

First up are the backbone of any Warriors of Chaos army, the Chaos Warriors.

Next up are the unruly mob that is the Chaos Marauders.

Any finally, the whole reason I started the army,

The Chaos Knights.

 And for the keen-eyed out there, here is one of the only model I have painted!

I'm going to go with Tzeentch for the Warriors deity so rather than have them all light blue or whatever, I wanted to cover them with blue glyphs and the like. Seen a similar mini in the army book so decided to emulate it, not as good as the books version but not too bad none the less!

So that's my first update done, next one will hopefully include a couple more painted models and the sorcerer that I'm awaiting from the Hobby Shack.

Beginnings

Here we go! My first blog!

I've never bothered with the whole blogging/social networking thing myself. Oh I'm all too happy to read others blogs but I've never had an interest in creating my own one, whether it's lack of interest or just plain laziness!

Well time to give it a go! And no better time than the beginning of the upcoming Escalation Campaign being run by The Last Chancers (TLC) in the Hobby Shack in Wicklow Town which starts this Thursday, November 1st.

Most of the guys have started new armies to herald the start of this and so have I, Warriors of Chaos! I chose them because ........ well just cos they're deadly! And I've always though that Chaos Knights are just the business, nothing has the mystique or dread that a Horde of Chaos Knights inspires!

So the campaign start in November with 800pts of Warriors and officially ends at Warpcon 2013, with (hopefully!) an almost fully painted 2000pt army and a whole lot of fun along the way!

So starting from .... NOW!..... I'll be updating as much as possible my progress with the army and anything else chaos that comes up along the way.

So tomorrow I'll have up a picture of my full 800pt army in their lovely grey clothes and the first Chaos Warrior painted. I'm actually looking forward to it!
