RG3 - The Christmas Project

Last night while putting together Juggerloons in the Hobby Shack, I was introduced to the single most amazing individual that I'd met that day - no not Big Mo but Robert Lee Griffin III, otherwise know as RG3.

Ah Yeah!

Now this has inspired me.
In fact, it's inspired me so much I'm going to create this daemon of wonderousness by wrecking converting an Exhaulted Hero into RG3.

Now I only have one Exhalted Hero, the Nurgle dude, and I think he's a bit too gigantic to do but if I can't find any other one then it'll do, SURE YOUR GRAND!

I had a quick flash of using a Bloodbowl player but that'd be a complete cop out really so it has to be a Warriors of Chaos hero model....except Sigvald as I'm not wrecking him, he's to beautiful!

I'm excited about this! I've never converted a model before or ever created anything using green stuff, so this is going to be interest to say the least!

Thursday Night in the Shack

Down in the Hobby Shack last night for our usual Thursday gaming.

I took on Dave H's Dark Elves again, it's becoming a weekly match at this stage! Which I love as Dave is such a cool guy and we have the best games of Aggressive-hammer ever every week!

Short report I sent via TLC maiing list...

Quick report for myself, I played against my now Arch Nemesis Dave who have a host of DE fancyness; Corsairs, a hydra, lvl4 with snipy rod bow thing, cauldon of blood, spearmen, crossbowmen, 10 Cold One Knights ... I have to say it was great variety!

I brough a lvl4 Sorcerer of Tzeentch, Exaulted Hero BSB, 24 Warriors, 5 Knights, 5 Warhounds, an 'invisable' (due to it not being ready yet!) warshrine and 3 Trolls (oh deary me I hear you all sigh).

Rolled Dawn Attack and Dave jacked the first turn of me, AH HERE!

I'll quickly sum this all up in the words of the watching PQ 'You're playin' shite', and right he was! I had no idea what was going on with the 800pt jump and kind of got lost without a map!

Dave battered me to bits, perfectly picking off my units and leaving the Warriors til last, hitting them in the flank with the Corsairs and the Hydra.....BOOM!

I made up for it a bit you Gatewaying 2 units but the damage was done and all was wiped out except for the Warshrine.

13 - 3 to Dave ..... I'll get you next week Dave!!!

Bought another pack of Skullcrushers too so I'll be having 4 of those beauties next week!
